Since this masechta deals extensively with the Yom Kippur avodah, I wanted to help those in this program delve a little deeper into the many details and elements of the Beis Hamikdash. To that end I have started a newsletter that explores one of the topics touched upon during that week's course of study. This publication is designed to give readers a better picture, literally and figuratively, of the point being discussed in the Gemara. It is called Temunei Kodesh ("pictures of the holy [Beis Hamikdash]"), because I obviously couldn't name it Temunei Chol ("pictures of the mundane"). Also, that name is taken.
The (somewhat ambitious) goal is to publish a new issue of Temunei Kodesh toward the end of each week of study, as the Gemara content warrants it. I will post a copy here on my blog and also provide a link to download a pdf for printing and distributing at home.
We should merit to see the Yom Kippur avodah in person as we welcome 5784.
Thanks, this sounds great!
