The Memuneh leads a contingent of Kohanim around the perimeter of the Azarah.

The Story

Before the Kohanim would begin the morning avodah, they would walk around the perimeter of the Azarah to make sure everything was in place. They left the Beis Hamoked in two groups, one going to the right and one going to the left, and they would meet up in front of the Chamber of the Makers of the Chavitin near the southeastern corner of the Azarah.

The Setup

This shot is modeled and rendered in Bricklink Studio with fog added in Photoshop (read more about this process in my introduction). The default light is turned off, and lighting is provided by the two pips of the torch in Luminous Soft Amber along with some large plates in Luminous Soft Blue to create an early morning atmosphere. In my model I marked the "official" pillar locations with white plates in the floor, but for this shot I moved the right pillar over a bit to better frame the minifigs. The pillars themselves are 20x30 Technic wheels stacked on a long axle.
